Kalam is a very famous tourists point in Swat Valley, it is still very beautiful but after being calamity-hit by flood in 2010, its beauty was affected to a large extent and the greenery these days is not as before. It is still worth visiting and see the points adjacent to Kalam Valley as you can still have fishing, jungle safari, visit Mahodand Lake, Kharkhari Lake, Spin Khor Lake and Kundol Lake (some of these lakes require up to 3 hours trekking).
